Ukrainian Health Ministry unable to buy vaccines for three years

In Kiev, three cases of botulism infection were registered, including one with a fatal outcome. All the victims ate dried fish, purchased in the largest supermarkets of the city.

According to the director of the Ukrainian Association of Trade Network Suppliers Alexey Doroshenko, the accident happened because of the lack of veterinary inspection and irresponsibility of the stores administration.
"Today there is no strict quality control of products. Typically, when suppliers bring fish to stores, they have one certificate for different types of fish. And stores also do not pay much attention to documents. They checked that it looks normal and there is no smell, signed the papers and took the goods," he said.
Poisoning with botulism in Ukraine will continue, says the president of the All-Ukrainian Council for the Protection of Rights and Safety of Patients Viktor Serdyuk:
"In fact, this is not the first case of poisoning by botulism in Ukrainian stores. This has happened and will happen, because we do not have a system of responsibility and programs for infectious safety. For three years we have been demanding that the Ministry of Health provides a supply of whey against botulism. But it has not yet been ordered. And yet this poison is the most toxic on the planet: one gram of botulinum toxin can kill a million people," says Serdyuk.

Saudi Prince loses $350 millions and 5 of his wives in 6 hours at the casino

saudprince

SHARM EL SHEIKH, EGYPT | A Saudi prince lost 1.350 Billion Riyals ($359 Million) in six hours as well as five of his nine wives while playing poker at the casino.

Prince Majed bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud is well-known around the world for both his drug and gambling habits, but his latest betting frenzy is quite exceptional even for him.

Spending the week at the renowned Sinai Grand Casino, the Prince spent six hours at the “unlimited stakes” poker table and had an incredible losing streak.

In one evening, he lost hundreds of millions of dollars and was even forced to give up five of his spouses to cover part of his debt.

According to the director of the casino, Ali Shamoon, the prince pawned his wives in exchange for $25M in credit and left them there after he lost.

“This isn’t the first time that a customer bets a living creature. We often have camels and horses, but usually, the customers pay to keep them. This is the first time that a player leaves his wives after he loses.”

Pawning or selling women is rather rare practice but it is still legal in several Middle Eastern countries.

The high profile of these particular women appears to embarrass both the Sinai Grand Casino and the Egyptian government, however, and a diplomatic solution remains quite probable.

It is still unclear what will happen to the Prince’s wives and if they will be able to return to Saudi Arabia, and most experts believe that other members of the Saudi Royal family could buy them back discretely over the next few weeks.

If not, they will likely be sold at auction in a few months, probably in Yemen or Qatar.

Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry said his government would do everything it could to facilitate the Saudi women’s return to their homeland, as soon as their husband’s debt will be paid.

This isn’t the first time that Prince Majed bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud attracts attention for bad reasons.

In 2015, the Saudi Arabian prince was accused of a having sexual relationship with a male aide, taking cocaine and threatening to kill women who refused his advances – as well as sexually assaulting a maid.

A few days after the facts were revealed by the media, Los Angeles County prosecutors announced that they would not be filing charges against the prince and he was allowed to leave the country.

This time, however, the prince is believed to have lost the vast majority of his fortune, so he may finally calm down and adopt a more conservative lifestyle.

Russian frigate & submarine fire 4 cruise missiles at ISIS targets near Palmyra – MoD

The missiles destroyed heavy equipment and killed fighters that Islamic State had transferred from its stronghold, Raqqa, to Palmyra, the Russian Defense Ministry has said.

The Russian warships, a frigate named Admiral Essen and submarine named Krasnodar, fired Kalibr cruise missiles on combat vehicles and militants outside the Syrian city of Palmyra, the Defense Ministry said.

The four cruise missiles were fired from the eastern Mediterranean, it noted in a statement. The submarine fired its missiles while submerged.

According to the MoD, “[the ships] targeted an area east of Palmyra, where the militants’ heavy weaponry and manpower were located. The militants moved there from Raqqa. All targets have been destroyed,” it said.

The US, Turkish, and Israeli militaries received appropriate warning in advance of the missile launches through active hotlines, the Defense Ministry added.

On May 25, a large Islamic State convoy, comprising 39 vehicles and 120 militants, was spotted outside Raqqa, a Defense Ministry source told RIA Novosti on Saturday.

“The terrorist convoy of 39 pickup trucks was detected and destroyed by the Air Force on its way to Palmyra,” the source said, adding that the vehicles were equipped with large-caliber machine guns.

The Russian Navy also fired Kalibr cruise missiles on militant positions in Syria last year. The Black Sea Fleet carried out three cruise missile strikes on terrorist targets in Syria back in August, destroying a command post and munitions production site. The missiles, which targeted Al-Nusra Front positions, flew over unpopulated areas, the Russian military said.

In October of 2015, four Russian Navy warships fired a total of 26 missiles from the Caspian Sea at positions Islamic State in Syria. The precision weapons hit all 11 targets after flying some 1,500 kilometers, according to the military. Preparation for the launches involved communications with Iran and Iraq, as the missiles had to pass their through the airspace of those countries to reach Syria.

The Defense Ministry said it had worked with its partners in plotting the flight path to assure that the missiles traveled only over desolate areas and posed no danger to civilians.

"Men in dark suits" rule the US - Putin on Deep State [Video]

 Fort Russ
May 31, 2017 - Fort Russ News -
Russian President Vladimir Putin, in an interview with French publication Le Figaro, has revealed that a US president is more often than not, just a figurehead of government. A certain person may be elected by the public on the basis of his merit and ideals – but rarely is this person able to formulate policy. Putin explained that the ‘bureaucracy’ in the US, which is more commonly known as the Deep State, is very powerful and as such does not allow any real change in direction.

“Presidents come and go, but the politics remains the same.” As such, an individual, who may have his own genuine ideas, is elected into the White House only to satisfy the illusion of a democratic process taking place. In reality, “men in dark suits”, who remain anonymous to the voting public, continue to pursue the well-established interests of the US elite with each incoming administration.

Number of Ukrainian deserters reaches 10 thousands

The number of deserters among the Ukrainian army’s soldiers as on the end of May reached 10 thousand people, reports the DPR Operational Command’s Vice-Commander, Eduard Basurin.
“According to our data, the number of the Ukrainian soldiers on the front line decreases progressively. The vacuum takes place because of the Ukrainian Army deserters’ number increasing. The Kiev officials do not announce the real numbers for they are too considerable and big. According to our reconnaissance data, deserters comprise about 10 thousand soldiers,” underlined the Vice-Commander.
It should be reminded that at the end of April, the number of deserters in the Ukrainian army ranks amounted to 8,377 . Such data were, at that moment, provided to the DPR Operational Command by a source in the Ukrainian Armed Forces military police. Later, Basurin repeatedly stated about the regular escapes of Ukrainian servicemen from the military service locations.

One day after meeting Putin, French President Macron meets with ISIS-Al Qaeda leaders in Paris

If you ever needed any more proof that the new wonder-boy French President is nothing more than a neo-liberal, globalist puppet, then look no further than Macron’s recent meeting in Paris with Syria’s opposition, known as the Riyadh-based High Negotiations Committee (HNC)…which includes political and armed groups trying to overthrow the Assad government.

Macron says he seeks to review French policy on Syria’s war with Saudi-Qatari-Turkey funded jihadists, but welcoming a terrorist organisation to Paris, one day after meeting Russian President Vladimir Putin, and days after ISIS bombed Manchester Arena, is no way to revaluate a failed western regime change operation of a sovereign nation…or maybe it is exactly the way Macron’s globalist rulers want him to behave when dealing with Syria.

Reuters reports
The unannounced meeting with Riad Hijab and a broader delegation from the Riyadh-based High Negotiations Committee (HNC), which includes political and armed groups, came as Macron seeks to review French policy on the six-year civil war.
“The president spoke of his personal commitment to the Syria dossier and of his support for the Syrian opposition in view of a political transition,” his office said in a statement.
Opposition officials were not immediately available for comment on the meeting.
Macron’s electoral victory has offered an opportunity for Paris to examine its policy on Syria with some considering the previous administration’s stance as too intransigent and leaving it isolated on the subject.
Macron, a newcomer to international diplomacy, said on Monday that his priority in Syria was to eradicate Islamist militants.
Alongside Putin in 17th century palace of Versailles outside Paris, Macron on Monday said he had agreed to set up a working group with Russia, including to exchange information. It was not immediately clear what that would entail.
Macron’s government says it backs U.N.-mediated peace talks in Geneva. However, Macron also called for a “political and diplomatic framework to build peace” without specifying whether it was a new initiative or part of the U.N. process.
More on the Riyadh-based High Negotiations Committee (HNC)…
The HNC was founded in December 2015 at a conference held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, which was attended by around 100 delegates. At the end of the conference, a joint statement was issued to confirm the formation of “a High Negotiations Committee for the Syrian Revolution and Opposition Forces (HNC), with its headquarters in Riyadh, to undertake the tasks of choosing a negotiating delegation and to act reference point for negotiators with the representatives of the Syrian regime on behalf of the participants”.
The group’s chief negotiator, Mohammed Alloush, a member of Jaish al-Islam, resigned from the HNC in May 2016 because of the lack of progress in the Syrian peace process.
In September 2016, the HNC set out a detailed transition plan for Syria, committing the country to democratic and religious pluralism. The 25-page document was launched in London and was welcomed by the United Kingdom’s government.
In January 2017, the HNC announced that it will support the Syrian peace talks in Astana, which began on 23 January.
In February 2017, the HNC chief coordinator Riyad Farid Hijab rejected a statement by Staffan de Mistura that the latter will select delegates for the Syrian opposition in Geneva. He also objected to the participation Democratic Union Party (PYD) in the Geneva conference.
The HNC has faced criticism from Russia because it includes groups like Ahrar al-Sham and Jaysh al-Islam. Its transition plan in September 2016 was also criticized by the opposition Kurdish National Council and the Assyrian Democratic Organization due to it not addressing minority ethnic groups in Syria.
The Kurdish National Council withdrew from the HNC on 29 March 2017 in protest to the latter’s opposition to federalism and human rights for Kurds in Syria.
More on Riad Hijab
Riyad Farid Hijab was Prime Minister of Syria from June to August 2012, serving under President Bashar al-Assad. From 2011 to 2012, he was Minister of Agriculture.
On 6 August 2012, the Syrian government released a statement saying that Hijab had been dismissed.
Shortly thereafter a man describing himself as Hijab’s spokesman and several news organizations stated he had resigned and defected to the rebel side in the Syrian "civil war".
Hijab is the highest-ranking defector from the Syrian government.

State Dept official stumped for 20 seconds when asked why US slams Iran but not Saudis (VIDEO)

This could be the most uncomfortable State Department press briefing moment yet.

During a press conference about US President Donald Trump’s recent trip to the Middle East, AFP journalist Dave Clark asked a department official why the US criticizes the Iranian elections and its record on democracy, but not Saudi Arabia.

"How do you characterize Saudi Arabia’s commitment to democracy, and does the administration believe that democracy is a buffer or a barrier against extremism?" Clark asked.

Stuart Jones, acting assistant secretary for Near Eastern Affairs, took a full 19-second pause before responding with a brief comment, saying that during this trip, the US made “significant progress with Saudi and GCC partners in both making a strong statement against extremism”.

Clearly, one source of extremism, one terrorism threat, is coming from Iran, and that’s coming from a part of the Iranian apparatus that is not at all responsive to its electorate,” Jones added.

Good God. That's the longest pause I've ever seen from a us official
It was pretty awkward being there, especially as I wasn't trying to embarrass Jones himself

Member of the European Parliament told truth about Donbass at EU-meeting [TV Report]

On May 1st Italian delegation took part in our Trade Unions parade and it was the first time that member of the EU parliament visited us in the Lugansk People's Republic, said Oleg Akimov, the Chairman of the LPR Trade Union in Lugansk24 channel.

Watch: Former NH Gov. Eviscerates CNN’s Camerota Over Asinine Trump/Russia Question

Former Republican New Hampshire Governor and Chief of Staff under George H. W. Bush John Sununu let loose on CNN’s Alisyn Camerota this morning after the latter insisted Sununu should be concerned over the Russia/Trump collusion nonsense.

“Nothing to see there?” asked Camerota, repeating allegations that Jared Kushner met with an influential Russian banker who has ties to Vladimir Putin.

“Well tell me what you think is to see there and I’ll comment on it,” shot back Sununu.

“What do you think would be the motivation –,” began Camerota.

“I don’t think there’s anything there,” Sununu interrupted.

At this, Camerota and Sununu began a shouting match, with Sununu accusing her of prying and Camerota demanding to know why Kushner and the banker met.

“Because during the 10 weeks everybody is trying to meet somebody who’s going to be in the administration,” Sununu retorted. “Everybody who’s involved in business, everybody who’s involved in politics.
I can’t tell you how many people tried to meet with me during the time I was named Chief of Staff.”

“And would you have carved out time to meet with a Russian banker with ties to Vladimir Putin,” the CNN talking head fired back.

“First of all, Putin wasn’t there,” shot back Sununu with a chuckle. “You’re asking hypotheticals on hypotheticals.”

When Camerota stated she was merely trying to read his comfort level on the Trump/Russia issue, Sununu stated, “the only discomfort I have is with folks in the media trying to create a veniality without having the courage to specifically tell me what the veniality that I should be concerned about is.”

“I don’t see any evidence of collusion – do you?” he demanded.

Camerota responded by stating no, but insisting “we’re at the beginning of the investigation.”

“You’re seven months into the investigation,” Sununu shot back. “Seven months.”

Russia is Always One Step Ahead in Syria: Here is Why

A military source has confirmed to Sputnik that Russian Aerospace Forces have eliminated approximately 120 Daesh militants who were attempting to flee Raqqa in the direction of Palmyra through a corridor opened by the Syrian Kurds. Russian military analyst Alexander Perendzhiev said that Russia has taken into account all of its previous mistakes.

Speaking to Sputnik, a military source confirmed Saturday that 120 Daesh militants traveling in 39 pickup trucks armed with large-caliber machineguns were eliminated May 25 as they attempted to flee Raqqa for Palmyra, liberated by government forces earlier this year.
The source added that the Russian military contingent in Syria has received several intelligence reports that Daesh had made a deal with units of the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) operating outside Raqqa, under which militants would be allowed to leave the city unimpeded.

"Upon receiving this information, the command of the Russian contingent in Syria has taken measures to prevent the exodus of Daesh terrorists in the southern direction," the source said.

The military source added that Russian intelligence drones have set up a perimeter around the city to monitor possible terrorist escape routes, with combat aircraft and special forces units engaged in preventing militants' escape.

"Any attempts by Daesh militants to move toward Palmyra and to build up their forces there will be squashed," the source said.

On Friday, the aerial support of the Russian Air Forces helped the Syrian army to recapture the main road between the capital Damascus and Palmyra, for the first time since 2014. The highway has been completely cleared of terrorists.

The Syrian army has also completely liberated the city of Homs, the capital of the Homs Governorate in western Syria, located 162 kilometers north of Damascus. And is planning a large-scale operation in the east of Hama Governorate in western-central Syria, in an effort to kick the terrorists out of their main supply route between Homs and Raqqa.
Earlier in May, the Syrian government forces liberated al-Jarrah, Syrian Arab Air Force air base, located to the east of Aleppo, not far from the Asad reservoir of the Euphrates, along with a number of other settlements.

Meanwhile, the Kurdish-led SDF are being supported by the US.  Reports suggest that on May 15 and 20, approximately 100 trucks crossed into Syria from northern Iraq using the Simelka border gate.
The convoys, which included armored vehicles, fuel tankers, heavy duty machines and containers loaded with arms and ammunition, first moved to Hassakah in northeastern Syria, then headed towards the Raqqa direction.

According to Turkish Daily Sabah, the group has obtained "US-made multiple rocket launcher pads, 80 and 120 millimeter mortars, MK19 grenade launchers, M4 Carbine and M16 infantry rifles, Humvee armored vehicles, Cougar armored personnel carriers and FGM-148 anti-tank missiles, which the U.S. refuses to supply to its NATO-ally Turkey despite repeated requests."

Military analyst, associate professor of the Department of Political Science and Sociology at the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics and a lieutenant colonel in reserve Alexander Perendzhiev commented on the latest developments.

"The Kurds have their own interest and that is control over certain territories. In the long run, they are not particularly concerned about where the terrorists will go. What they are really concerned about is the territory they lay claims to," he told Russia's online newspaper Vzglyad.

The analyst however noted that it is hard to accuse the Kurds for setting up corridors for the militants as they might object that there were similar corridors, previously set up for the terrorists  who were leaving Aleppo for Raqqa.

"It is more of a ping-pong: either we are banishing the terrorists in the direction of the Kurds, or they tried to do the same. Thus it is hard to blame the Kurds, the terrorists should be simply eliminated," he explained.

The expert noted that the eliminated group of terrorists was rather large and could have captured a city.

Perendzhiev called Russian operation on elimination of terrorists a success, a "one-step-ahead" operation, which prevented the advance of terrorists. Otherwise they could have tried to re-capture Palmyra.
"The mistakes of the past have been taken into account. A very careful work has been done to prevent the re-capture of Palmyra, a very detailed reconnaissance and monitoring of the area. A detailed plan has been worked out in case of this or that scenario," he said.

It means that Russia's General Staff of the Armed Forces is well forecasting the developments and stays ahead. And this, in turn, demonstrates not only the growth of Russia's military prowess, but of its military-administrative expertise as well.
James Clapper says Russians are “genetically driven” to deceive (Video)

The man who committed perjury is now showing his racism towards Russian people.
Article first appeared on RussiaFeed.

In an interview with Chuck Todd from Meet the Press, James Clapper opened up about his ability to spot a Russian spy in Jared Kushner, and his belief that Russians are “genetically driven” to cause mischief and deception.

All of this is coming from the man who lied to Congress when asked if his Intelligence apparatus illegally gathers information on millions of American’s.

Edward Snowden blew apart Clapper’s testimony and exposed that the Former Director of National Intelligence had perjured himself.

Clapper’s punishment for perjury…Meet the Press appearances with Chucky Todd.

Former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper went on Meet the Press on Sunday to say that his spidey senses are strong, noting that his “dashboard warning light was clearly on” when asked about whether he knew about communications between Russians and White House senior adviser, and President Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner.

Clapper said during the exclusive interview…
“I have to say that, without specifically affirming or confirming these conversations — since, even though they’re in the public realm, they’re still classified — just from a theoretical standpoint, I will tell you that my dashboard warning light was clearly on and I think that was the case with all of us in the intelligence community, very concerned about the nature of these approaches to the Russians.”
“If you put that in context with everything else we knew the Russians were doing to interfere with the election, and just the historical practices of the Russians, who typically, almost genetically driven to co-opt, penetrate, gain favor, whatever, which is a typical Russian technique. So we were concerned.”
Of course with all this smoke, Clapper can still not find any fire, but he is a bit irked that Trump broke with White House tradition…
“I have to say, at the time I left, I did not see any smoking gun certitude evidence of collusion. But it certainly was appropriate for — given all the signs — certainly appropriate for the FBI — and necessary for the FBI to investigate.”
“I have to say as well, Chuck…we have a time-honored custom that we have one president and one administration at a time. And oncoming administrations don’t get a head-start before the end of the current president’s incumbency.”
Clapper also acknowledged that Kislyak had to be considered as part of the Russian intelligence community, and that now given the compelling lack of evidence of collusion, more sanction are appropriate to stop Russia from fantasy election interference…
“Given the fact that he oversees the very aggressive intelligence operation in this country – the Russians have more intelligence operatives than any other nation that is represented in this country, still even after we got rid of 35 of them – and so to suggest that he is somehow separate or oblivious to that is a bit much.”
“Certainly sanctions are a compelling, powerful weapon—Russians don’t like them.”
“They [Russia] are only emboldened.”
“They are only going to continue to interfere in our political process. To me, that is the big story here and what American people should be concerned about.”

Stop inventing fictional threats from Russia – Putin to Le Figaro

Stop inventing fictional threats from Russia – Putin to Le Figaro
With bombings in Paris and elsewhere across Europe and war in the Middle East, it’s strange to hear speculation about a fictional Russian threat, Vladimir Putin said in an exclusive interview with Le Figaro.
The Russian president, who visited Paris to meet with his French counterpart, Emmanuel Macron, on Monday, expressed the belief that Moscow and Western capitals “all want security, peace, safety and cooperation.”

“Therefore, we should not build up tensions or invent fictional threats from Russia, some hybrid warfare etc.,” the Russian leader said.

“What is the major security problem today? Terrorism. There are bombings in Europe, in Paris, in Russia, in Belgium. There is a war in the Middle East. This is the main concern. But no, let us keep speculating on the threat from Russia."

“You made these things up yourselves and now scare yourselves with them and even use them to plan your prospective policies. These policies have no prospects. The only possible future is in cooperation in all areas, including security issues,” he added.

Fighting international terrorism is among the issues on which Russia and the West must work together, Putin said.

We Are Eating POISON! Here’s How To Identify GMO Tomatoes !

We Are Eating POISON! Here’s How To Identify GMO Tomatoes In 2 Easy Steps!:

Well, many experts around the world say that we should eat plenty of raw fruits and vegetables!

Yes, they’re right – but, the bad thing is that the market is “overloaded” with GMO (Genetically Modified Organism) fruits and vegetables!

Many different studies have discovered that these types of fruits and vegetables (GMO) can cause really bad side effects for our health in general!

And the real and ugly truth is that there are many people who can’t tell the difference – they can’t identify the GMO tomatoes or other GMO products.

But, you shouldn’t be worried, because in this article we are going to show you an easy way that will help you identify these GMO tomatoes and you will know what to eat.

HOW SAFE ARE GMOS?

First, you should know that there are two very different viewpoints when it comes to the health and safety of genetically engineered food — industry leaders and scientists who support GMOs and those who believe GMOs are harmful.

You should also know that genetically modified foods have been linked to toxic and allergic reactions, sick, sterile and dead livestock, and damage to virtually every organ studied in lab animals.

Most developed nations do not consider GMOs to be safe. Note: in more than 60 countries around the world, including Australia, Japan and all of the countries in the European Union, there are significant restrictions or outright bans on the production and sale of GMOs.

GMO LABELLING

Here’s what you need to know – first, you should know that fruits and vegetables that are grown in the usual way (with the injection of chemicals) are labeled with a code consisting of four digits.

And Organic fruits and vegetables have a price tag with a code consisting of five digits, starting with the number 9. Genetically modified (GMO) fruits and vegetables have a price tag with a code consisting of five digits starting with the number 8!

Note: you should know that these tips are quite important, probably cause of the fact that at this time, more than 80 percent of processed foods in the United States has been genetically modified.

In many European countries, the production and sale of GMO products is prohibited. These countries are Austria, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary and Luxemburg.

THIS IS THE BEST VIDEO I’VE WATCHED ABOUT THE ‘SAFETY’ OF GMO PRODUCTS:

We really hope you find this article helpful and don’t forget to share it with your friends and family. Thank You!

Syrian Army captures more territory from retreating US-backed rebels near Iraqi border

BEIRUT, LEBANON (2:30 P.M.)- The Syrian Arab Army (SAA), alongside several units from the Iraq’s Popular Mobilization Units (Hashd Al-Sha’abi) and National Defense Forces (NDF), resumed their field operations in the southeastern countryside of Homs, today, targeting the Free Syrian Army’s (FSA) positions in the Badiya Al-Sham region.

Led by the 5th Corps, the Syrian Arab Army and their allies attacked the Free Syrian Army’s defenses at the Helba area, east of Al-Ulayaniyah.

Unable to fend-off the advancing Syrian government forces, the Free Syrian Army was forced to withdraw from the Helba area without putting up much of a fight.

With the Helba area under their control, the Syrian Arab Army now finds themselves less than 50km away from the Iraqi border.

HR1644 is the launch code for WWIII says Russia

Date of publication: 30 05 2017
Washington, DC. A bill recently introduced into congress is being quietly called a sure path to war with Russia as congress is actually authorizing inspection and seizure of any Russian or Chinese ship or aircraft that goes into North Korea for any reason.

Russian Putin Administration officials are concerned that a bill passed by the US Congress will do more than increase sanctions on North Korea. Moscow claims H.R. 1644 violates its sovereignty and constitutes an “act of war.”

House Resolution 1644, the innocently named “Korean Interdiction and Modernization of Sanctions Act,” was quickly passed by the US House of Representatives by a vote of 419-1 – and it was just as quickly labeled an “act of war” by a top Russian official. And it passed with only one dissenting vote cast by Republican Thomas Massie of Kentucky.

If enacted, the bill would amend the North Korea Sanctions and Policy Enhancement Act of 2016 to increase the president’s powers to impose sanctions on anyone in violation of certain United Nations Security Council resolutions regarding North Korea.

Specifically, it would allow for expanding sanctions to punish North Korea for its nuclear weapons programs by: targeting overseas individuals who employ North Korean “slave labor”; requiring the administration to determine whether North Korea was a state sponsor of terrorism and, most critically; authorizing a crackdown on North Korea’s use of international transit ports.

The part that has Russia locking and loading is Section 104, the part of the bill that presumed to grant the US “inspection authorities” over shipping ports (and major airports) far beyond the Korean Peninsula – specifically, ports in China, Russia, Syria, and Iran.

HR 1644 identifies more than 20 foreign targets, including: two ports in China (Dandong and Dalian and “any other port in the People’s Republic of China that the President deems appropriate”); ten ports in Iran (Abadan, Bandar-e-Abbas, Chabahar, Bandar-e-Khomeini, Bushehr Port, Asaluyeh Port, Kish, Kharg Island, Bandar-e-Lenge, Khorramshahr, and the Tehran Imam Khomeini International Airport); four facilities in Syria (the ports at Latakia, Banias, Tartous and the Damascus International Airport) and; three ports in Russia (Nakhodka, Vanino, and Vladivostok).

Under the proposed law, the US Secretary of Homeland Security could use the National Targeting Center’s Automated Targeting System to search any ship, plane, or conveyance that has “entered the territory, waters, or airspace of North Korea, or landed in any of the sea ports or airports of North Korea.” Any vessel, aircraft, or vehicle found in violation of this US law would be subject to “seizure and forfeiture.”

“I hope this bill will never be implemented,” Kosachev told News Front, “because its implementation envisions a scenario of power with forced inspections of all vessels by US warships. Such a power scenario is beyond comprehension, because it means a declaration of war.”

Moscow was understandably outraged by the houses move to extend the US military’s authority to include surveillance of sovereign ports in the Russian Far East. Russia’s Upper House heatedly noted that such actions constitute a violation of international law that was tantamount to a declaration of war.

South Ossetia will open its embassies in DPR, LPR

South Ossetia (RSO) will open its embassies in the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics (the DPR and the LPR) in the near future. This was announced by the President of South Ossetia Anatoly Bibilov, presenting the new Foreign Minister Dmitry Medoyev to the Foreign Ministry staff.
"We will develop relations with the countries that we recognized," he said. "In the near future, a building will be allocated in South Ossetia for the embassy of the DPR, while the leadership of this republic has already allocated a good building for the embassy of the Republic of South Ossetia in the DPR. The same agreement is  being prepared with the LPR as well."
Bibilov added that graduates of MGIMO - professional diplomatic workers of South Ossetia will be sent to work in the embassy in Donetsk. He noted that the plans to develop trade and economic relations between South Ossetia and the DPR and the LPR are in the process of implementation.

“According to our reconnaissance’s data, over the past 3 days 8 soldiers deserted the 92nd brigade’s positions near Donetsk,” stated the DPR Operational Command’s Vice-Commander, Eduard Basurin.
He also added that presently, the measures on escapees searching are held with the assistance of the 22nd separate mechanized infantry battalion “Kharkov”. Basurin reminded that the deserters search is undertaken by the redeployed units of the Ukrainian Security Service and “Azov” regiment.

S. Korean president ‘shocked’ to find 4 unaccounted US THAAD launchers in his country
The newly-elected president of South Korea ordered a probe into why the country’s defense ministry failed to report to him the import of four more rocket launchers for the US anti-missile system in addition to the two confirmed publicly.

“President Moon said it was very shocking,” to hear the four additional launchers had been installed without being reported to the new government or to the public, presidential spokesman Yoon Young-chan told a media briefing on Tuesday.

The deployment of the US Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) system was approved by the previous conservative government in Seoul, which fell after then-President Park Geun-hye of the Saenuri Party was impeached under the corruption charges. Moon Jae-in, a Democrat, won the May 9 election and is in the process of power transition. A promise to review the controversial THAAD deal was part of his campaign.

Moon’s office announced a probe into an undisclosed entry of four THAAD launchers, which were brought into the country in addition to two units, the deployment of which was publicly announced.
“President Moon ordered to find out how the four additional rocket launchers were brought into the country, who made such a decision, why this has not been disclosed to the people and why this has not been reported to the new administration even to date,” Yoon said as cited by Yonhap news agency.
“President Moon ordered his senior secretary for civil affairs and the NSO chief to find the truth behind the secret entry of the four rocket launchers,” he added.

The agency notes that the existence of additional launchers was quite open. Footage of four launchers being deployed was filmed and broadcast by a local TV station in April. A fully-equipped THAAD battery is supposed to have at least six launchers equipped with eight interceptor missiles each along with a radar station and two operations centers.

The US has denied misleading its allies.

"We continue to work very closely with the Republic of Korea government and we have been very transparent in all of our actions throughout this process," Pentagon spokesman Jeff Davis
Moon has been critical of many policies of his predecessor, including the decision to deploy the THAAD system. He said Park failed to get a parliamentary approval for the move, but is yet to bring the issue to lawmakers himself.

The deployment was touted in Seoul as a measure to protect the country from a possible attack by North Korea. But the strongest opposition to the move came from China, which sees THAAD as a threat to its national security, both due to the range of its radar and because of its potential to pave way for further deployments in the region. Japan was reported as considering hosting two THAAD batteries to complement land-based Patriot missiles and Aegis systems of its destroyers.

After the decision was taken in Seoul, Beijing retaliated with undeclared economic sanctions, targeting South Korean businesses depending on China. South Korean tourism, retailing and media industries were reportedly hit, with Beijing denying any involvement.

After Moon’s election, Beijing is apparently rolling back the punitive action, according to Reuters. The broadcast of a Korean-Chinese drama ‘My Goddess, My Mom’, which were frozen in China, may soon return to air, said JS Pictures, the agency representing series’ star, South Korean actress Lee Da-hae. South Korean tour agency Mode Tour told Reuters it hopes China may in June lift a ban on selling group tours to South Korea.

Amnesty International Confirms US Gave ISIS $1 Billion of Weapons in 2016 US Army gave arms and equipment to Islamic State under Obama By: Jay Greenberg |@NeonNettle on 26th May 2017 @ 5.05pm the us gave 1 billion usd worth of weapons in 2016 © press The US gave 1 billion USD worth of weapons in 2016 Amnesty International has confirmed that the US Army gave ISIS $1 billion worth of arms and equipment in Iraq during President Obama's final year in office, according to a report. The data was obtained by the human rights group following a freedom of information request for a 2016 government audit. “This audit provides a worrying insight into the US Army’s flawed — and potentially dangerous system for controlling millions of dollars’ worth of arms transfers to a hugely volatile region,” Patrick Wilcken, Amnesty’s researcher on international arms control, said in a statement. “It makes for especially sobering reading given the long history of leakage of US arms to multiple armed groups committing atrocities in Iraq, including the armed group calling itself the Islamic State.” In 2015, the US gave $1.57 billion worth of equipment to Iraq to help them fight ISIS through the Iraq Train and Equip Fund. Now it has been revealed they also funded the enemy, providing them with weapons. The Army’s 1st Theater Sustainment Command “did not have accurate, up-to-date records on the quantity and location of [Iraq Train and Equip Fund] equipment on hand in Kuwait and Iraq,” the Pentagon’s inspector general wrote in the audit, The Hill reports. Tens of thousands of assault rifles, hundreds of mortar rounds and armored Humvees were among the equipment given to ISIS in Iraq, Amnesty said. According to Amnesty, the US army’s lack of control over its weapons was also exposed in a 2015 audit. The 2015 audit prompted Congress to commit to keeping a stricter control of its weapons. Your Newswire reports: Hawaii Rep. Gabbard went to Syria on a secret fact-finding mission to wade through the lies and propaganda and find out what is really happening on the ground. Immediately on her return CNN booked her for an “exclusive” interview – and Gabbard told them exactly what they didn’t want to hear: she has proof the Obama administration was funding ISIS and Al-Qaeda. Explaining to Jake Tapper that she met people from all walks of life in Aleppo and Damascus, Gabbard said that Syrians “expressed happiness and joy at seeing an American walking their streets.” But they also wanted to know “why is it that the United States, its allies, and other countries, are providing support, are providing arms, to terrorist groups like Al-Nusra, Al-Qaeda, ISIS, who are on the ground there, raping, kidnapping, torturing, and killing the Syrian people? “They asked me why is the United States supporting these terrorist groups who are destroying Syria – when it was Al-Qaeda who attacked the United States on 9/11, not Syria. “I didn’t have an answer for that.” That was more than Jake Tapper, who was hostile from the beginning of the interview, could handle. His face screwed up, Tapper lashed out, saying, “Obviously the United States government denies providing any sort of help to the terrorist groups you are talking about, they say they provide help for the rebel groups.” If that was supposed to Tapper’s knockout blow, Gabbard saw it coming a mile away. Without missing a beat, she calmly deconstructed his ideological, and savagely wrong, talking points. “The reality is, Jake – and I’m glad you bought up that point – every place that I went, every person I spoke to, I asked this question to them. And without hesitation, they said ‘there are no moderate rebels, who are these moderate rebels that people keep speaking of?’ “Regardless of the name of these groups, the strongest fighting force on the ground in Syria is Al-Nusra or Al-Qaeda and ISIS. That is a fact. There are a number of different other groups, all of them are fighting alongside, with or under the command of the strongest group on the ground that is trying to overthrow Assad.”
